Macha & Thibault
Two French designers passionate about nature, art, and humanity.
Graduates of the same prestigious art and architecture school in Paris, Penninghen, they have followed different professional paths.
Macha founded her brand "Les cerises de Mars," creating collections of jewelry and scarves, taking great care to work with French workshops. She has her own boutique in the 7th arrondissement of Paris and her creations have also been featured at Le Bon Marché, Printemps, and in Japan at Isetan.
Thibault has spent over 15 years creating and developing the brand image for various houses as well as numerous retail concepts!
Together, they handle several design projects and expand their portfolio: interior architecture, furniture design, objects, ceramics, drawings, and more.
In 2018, they decided to leave Paris to pursue their dream and passion: to create a living space focused on nature and art.
The place
Located only 30 minutes away from Lisbon airport, Terra Quinta is made of five hectares of land.
We have designed and shaped this land with different areas, to create a unique sanctuary for the body and mind.
Our rooms
Located within former stables, most of our rooms and their bathrooms feature a blend of wood, natural stone, and linen. They reflect our gardens and offer a gentle mix of simplicity and artistic vibes.
Each room has been thoughtfully designed to create a unique atmosphere. The majority have independent access to a lush terrace.
We designed most of the objects and furniture within them, and wonderful local artisans have worked to bring them to life.

Our workshop
Welcome to our yoga studio, a magical space where tranquility and serenity meet. Located in a carefully renovated former warehouse, our studio offers a unique and inspiring setting for your yoga, Pilates, and meditation practices.

With 50 yoga mat spots, our studio can comfortably accommodate a large group of practitioners.

We provide 80 blocks, 40 meditation cushions (Zafus), 40 blankets, and 30 meditation mats to support and enrich your practices.

For an immersive audio experience, our studio is equipped with two connected speakers and a microphone, allowing you to play soothing music or guide your sessions with clarity.

With a ceiling height of 5 meters, a fireplace for cooler evenings, and air conditioning for warm days, our studio ensures optimal comfort throughout the year.

The studio's large openings offer panoramic views of calming natural landscapes, inviting a connection with nature and awakening the senses.

Our ceramics workshop is a space dedicated to artistic expression and creation, where everyone is invited to unleash their creative power and discover new talents.
Located on the first floor of our Workshop, our studio offers a fully equipped space for ceramics, painting, drawing, or automatic writing workshops.
Whether you are an experienced artist or simply exploring your passion for the arts, this is the ideal place to explore your creativity and let your imagination run wild. Under the attentive guidance of Macha and Thibault, you will have the opportunity to create unique works in ceramics, drawing, or painting while benefiting from their expertise and support.

Casa Principale
As you enter our living/dining room, you'll immediately be enveloped by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Every detail has been thought through with love and care, from the comfortable, elegant furniture to the carefully selected decorative accessories. Soft cushions invite you to relax. Local works of art adorn the walls, adding a touch of color and character to the space.
Our living/dining room is more than just a gathering place. It's a place where hearts open, palates are filled and spirits are lifted. Shelves brimming with books invite exploration and discovery, offering a multitude of readings to nourish mind and soul.
The arena
Set around a large fire pit, the arena – a 36 meters circle evoking the earth- offers a journey into the five elements: fire, air, water, metal, stars. The energy rising from it is
strong and powerful. Here, you will enjoy a lunar cycle made of a thousand flowers, a thoughtful mandala, 12 totems, mineral spaces representing the 5 continents where gigantic sculptures will be exhibited.
The pergola
Under this delightful, shaded space, overlooking the rolling plains of the Ribatejo, you can enjoy peace and quiet. Indulge in a yoga class, meditate, or even simply enjoy the sunrise in front of your eyes.
The vegetable garden
Our fantastic organic vegetable and fruit garden spreads over one hectare of land and keeps on growing. It provides fresh ingredients to our kitchen throughout the year, giving our food an extra special taste of love and sunshine.
A Chef at the Quinta
We work closely with talented and passionate chefs to create yummy menus. During their stay, the chefs are invited to work in the kitchen and animate a cooking workshop to share their love for food with you.
Seasonality
Over the seasons, we harvest: peas, arugula, fennel and artichokes (Spring); black, yellow and red tomatoes, juicy strawberries, sweet raspberries and melons (Summer); figs, kale, cauliflower and squash (Autumn & Winter). We never use pesticides and farm responsibly and mindfully, with this constant belief that eating organically is not only better for the planet but also for our wellbeing.

Sustainability
Located in the heart of nature, next to pine trees and majestic cork oak trees, our 20-meter-long pool is a peaceful heaven. While swimming, you can admire the stunning hills of the Portuguese countryside.
The pool itself is surrounded by soft mattresses and hammocks, the perfect spots to take a nap in the afternoon.

At the end of a shady path, nestled amongst iconic Portuguese cork oak trees, you will find two enchanted cabins designed for treatments and massages. Between them, stands a large sandy space where you can practice yoga or have a rest. A true heaven on earth!

Suspended from the branches of our trees, you will find 4 wooden cocoons swing chairs, padded with cozy cushions to welcome your moments alone and offer you a unique space to reconnect with the essential.
This former dressage arena is surrounded by flowers and nature. Wisteria and starry jasmine cover the marquee. The arena lights up each evening to welcome your dances, dinners, and poetic reveries.

Terra Quinta is also home to wonderful therapists with healing hands. All year long, you can book a Ayurvedic, Kobido, or relaxing massage. You choose where you would like to unplug : under the trees, inside one of our magic cabins or in your room. We highly recommend you book your treatment in advance.
Our games/activities
Our Quinta proposes different activities for all ages: a tennis table, a field set for the typical French game called “la pétanque”, a trampoline, swings, bicycles, trapezes, Badminton rackets.

Terra Quinta is also home to wonderful therapists with healing hands. All year long, you can book a shiatsu, African, Thai, or relaxing massage. You choose where you would like to unplug : under the trees, inside one of our magic cabins or in your room.
